Luis A. Serrano represents consumers, businesses, and individuals in complex civil litigation and high-stakes disputes throughout California. His practice encompasses breach-of-contract and warranty claims, fraud and fraudulent inducement, claims under the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA), business and personal torts, employment disputes, government claims, and Lemon Law matters. Mr. Serrano advises clients throughout the litigation lifecycle, from pre-litigation strategy and alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration, through discovery, dispositive and other motion practice, evidentiary proceedings, and trial. He takes a deliberate, hands-on approach to each engagement, working closely with clients to assess the factual and legal landscape, identify available remedies, and develop litigation strategies aligned with their objectives. When a matter requires litigation, he is prepared to pursue it through trial and, where appropriate, to judgment or a favorable resolution.

Prior to co-founding Serrano & Jeevaprakash LLP, Mr. Serrano spent nearly seven years at one of California’s largest and most prominent Lemon Law and consumer-rights firms, where he represented consumers in sophisticated and contested litigation arising under California’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, as well as related claims involving fraudulent inducement and concealment, torts, and government claims. His experience includes contested proceedings, evidentiary hearings, and trials, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the strategic, evidentiary, and procedural considerations that shape complex civil litigation.
