Luis A. Serrano

Partner

Luis Serrano represents consumers, businesses, and individuals in complex civil litigation, with substantial experience handling consumer-protection, automotive warranty, and California lemon-law matters. He advises clients throughout the life of a dispute, from initial case evaluation and pre-litigation strategy through discovery, motion practice, negotiation, arbitration, and trial.

Before co-founding Serrano & Jeevaprakash LLP, Luis practiced for nearly seven years at one of California’s largest and most prominent lemon-law and consumer-rights firms. There, he developed extensive experience representing consumers in contested warranty litigation and claims involving defective vehicles, manufacturers, dealerships, and California’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act.

Luis is a determined advocate who is prepared to take matters to court when necessary. He has experience handling contested proceedings, evidentiary hearings, and trials, and he approaches each case with careful preparation, practical judgment, and a willingness to pursue the client’s position through verdict or favorable resolution.

Luis works closely with clients to understand their objectives, evaluate the evidence and available remedies, and develop strategies tailored to the particular circumstances of each matter.

Luis earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

He is admitted to practice in California.
